Oliver Gallacher 2nd Year
Hi, I’m Oliver. First year has taught me plenty about medicine, but even more about the people I’m lucky enough to study alongside! Next year, I’d love to build on Emma and Hannah’s work by being a friendly face you can approach, and ensuring our cohort’s voice is heard.

Veda Muthineni 4th Year
Hi friends! We’ve officially reached geriatric status in med – clin years.
My aim is to funmaxx and make Halfway Ball truly GENERATIONAL
Not just a night out. A historical event. A cultural reset. The 8th wonder of the world.
So that’s the trailer, let’s begin the movie…
Chenuli Basnayake 4th Year
Hi everyone, I'm Chenuli! I want next year to feel manageable and unifying for all. I’d organise regular wellbeing snacks, a coffee crawl, games nights, and (hopefully) the best halfway ball—with awards and a placement slideshow! I’ll push for connection within each hospital and help rurally placed students feel supported.
Rayan Abou-Hamdan 4th Year
Hi Everybody,I’m Rayan. Fourth year will be our first clinical year separated across different hospitals and departments. My aim for 2027 is to maintain cohesiveness within the cohort through group activities - such as continued hikes around Adelaide, beach walks, coffee runs and even movie nights + so much more.
5th Year Level Representative #
Karan Dhaliwal 5th Year
Just like 4th year, we'll disappear across different hospitals and slowly forget what everyone looks like. The only person you see regularly is your reg and we cant have that (because they still wont sign your ward report)So, more events, more catch ups and more fun throughout the year!
Rohan Thiru 5th Year
By this time next year, we’ll have fully become hospital furniture and be tackling our final exams. I’d love to keep us connected as a cohort and organise casual events whenever we get the chance to catch-up. Always happy to be someone you can reach out to, wherever you’re placed!6th Year Level Representative #
Sarah Jacob 6th Year
Pov: it’s your final year before becoming a slave to CAHLN.Frontal lobe developing, botox looking tempting and you realise: ONE last year before medicine cuffs me 4 lyfe.
So, before I take the Hippocratic Oath, I vow to dedicate myself to the party.

Hey friends!I’m applying to make our last year a MOVIE. Honestly that’s all I really care about (pending passing our final). We have some very sick ideas for events and grad stuff brewing (I have some inside sources in the amss wink wink) which will all be revealed shortly…

Yuna Kim 5th Year
I think a big part of medicine is “see one, do one, teach one”. I’d love more opportunities to learn by doing, feel prepared for internship, and have clearer communication about what’s happening across the degree. I’m approachable, happy to listen, and will ask the questions we’re all thinking!

Dinuk Rajapakse 6th Year
I hope I’ve been approachable, even if I’ve been 700kms away. A return to Adelaide means that you get an Ed Rep who can be even more persistent, unshackled from the confines of Zoom. Let’s make this year low stress, so you can be the intern of your dreams.

My priorities:C - onnect students & staff effectively around research & selectives

S - ee more, learn more on placement
S - upport our transition to internship
O - pen, approachable & ready to listen
F - ocused on good communication
2027 - best year yet!
