Ultrasound scanning is painless with no radiation or medication involved. Model privacy is respected and maintained at all times. Being a volunteer model is non-invasive, non-intrusive and benefits our participants at all levels of training and expertise.

Vital to the workshop is the ability to scan as many different people as possible to prepare for clinical experience. While ultrasound trainers provide a useful method of demonstrating and practising technique, the benefits of performing ultrasound on live volunteers cannot be overlooked.

They am looking for approximately six volunteers who would be willing to assist in being models for the following areas:

  • Upper Limb
  • Lower Limb
  • Torso
  • Neck
