Keen to get involved? Interested in working with TeamEd to help maximise the quality of Adelaide’s medical education? Nominations for two TeamEd-specific roles are now open to any year level.

TeamEd Secretary – 1 student

  • The TeamEd Secretary works with the Vice President (Education) to coordinate TeamEd meetings including: forming and distributing agendas and pre-reading, organisation of food for meetings, taking meeting minutes and assisting in large TeamEd projects e.g. AMC student submission. 
  • +s: Up-skilling for future roles involving meetings/TeamEd/secretarial duties, potential springboard for further societal-involvement (our own 2017 President began his AMSS involvement as TeamEd Secretary!), low time requirement (4 TeamEd meetings scheduled)

TeamEd Communications Officer (new role!) – 1 student

  • The TeamEd Communications Officer works with the Vice President (Education) to enhance the communication of advocacy efforts and outcomes to the general student body as well as internal communication within TeamEd. At the discretion of the elected officer, this could involve utilisation of the AMSS website, Facebook, additional multimedia, memes etc. The TeamEd Communications Officer also assists with large TeamEd projects e.g. AMC student submission. 
  • +s: Up-skilling for future roles involving TeamEd/multimedia, potential springboard for further societal-involvement, the opportunity to define the work of the portfolio (it is a new role)!

Nominations will close on Sunday 1st April at 5 PM – so be quick! Election will be decided by the Vice President (Education) and Junior Education officer. You are welcome to apply for both roles if you so wish.
