By day you may find it in a formal attire equipped with a sharply ironed clinical jacket, a tendon hammer in hand and a stethoscope hung comfortably around its neck. Possibly it could be in jeans and top, casually ready for study or varied activities. Dressed in runners and athletic gear, or even a work uniform. By night they may be found in stilettos and a low cut cocktail dress, or even silky black bed wear.
So who is this mystical creature, able to transform into numerous characters as it pleases?
Of course it is none other than a female Adelaide medical student. AKA Adelady.
In amongst their busy schedules these women still find time to celebrate together at numerous occasions throughout the year.
To begin, at the introductory picnic in the Botanical Gardens during O-week, to meet the new first year girls and have a relaxing time together.
Miss Med on the 22nd of May is the major evening that the Adeladies get together for a few cheeky drinks and some outrageously fun girl time. Oh, do I have some fun in store for you all this year!
Finally at the Pipps Cup during convention. Where we will return as reining champions, with the same pride, and possible a hint of arrogance as we had last year.
Over 2009, friendships will be made between Adeladies that will last a life time, and I am so excited to be able to assist in this process. If you have any problems, requests or ideas do not hesitate to contact me!
