What is the MIGA Elective Grants Program?
The MIGA Elective Grants Program provides financial assistance to students undertaking their elective in developing communities.
The Grants
In 2010 MIGA is offering up to five Grants of $3,500, each consisting of:
- An Elective Grant of $2,000 to assist in funding your elective
- A Medical Support Grant of $1,500 to assist in the purchase of medical or other aid for the community you visit.
Who can apply?
The 2010 Elective Grants Program is open to current Medical Students in Australia who are student members of MIGA and wish to undertake an elective program in a developing community and/or country between March 2010 and February 2011.
Student Membership and Insurance with MIGA is free. To join, simply complete our online Application Form.
