AMSS Education Forums 2009
The AMSS Education Forums are a series of lectures or education evenings held each year by the AMSS. The topics covered in the past have ranged from sessions on medical reasoning, to mental health, as well as anecdotal lectures recounting experiences of doctors in war zones.
All students are more than welcome to attend any education forum, and an RSVP is not required. Food is provided form 5pm and the lectures tradionally start at 5:30pm however this is subject to the speaker’s availability.
The forums are an excellent opportunity for students to build on their own knowledge, experience aspects of medicine outside the Adelaide University Medical School curriculum, and meet engaging and experienced medical practitioners.
