The AMSS Education Forums are a unique experience not readily offered in any other facet of the MBBS degree. No other lecture series in the Med School offers complimentary hot food and quality medical presentations in such a fulfilling fusion of flavours and knowledge. In no other situation are you able to help yourself to countless platters of nibbles, before settling into a comfortable seat in the spacious Florey Lecture Theatre to be presented with priceless gems of medical know-how. 

This year, the Forums have again attracted a captivating and brilliant list of presenters; Doctors and Professors who are passionate about their field and, more importantly, passionate about sharing their knowledge with Medical Students. Through the wonderful mediums of PowerPoint and laser pointers, they will convey to you the innermost secrets of the medical fraternity; simple rules you wish you had discovered in first year, mnemonics you could only dream of and fundamental medical facts that will lay the foundations of a successful career.  

You will emerge from the Florey lecture theatre with a full stomach and a full mind; sated in every sense of the word and glowing with the intelligent aura of a student who has just learned something. Eight of Adelaide’s top practitioners will be attending this year’s Education Forums and you would be foolish to miss out. Be there, be a square. 

Food starts every Forum at 5:00pm
Presentation begins in the Florey Lecture Theatre at 5:30pm.
