Urinal Award

The Urinal Award is an (in)glorious annual prize provided to the medical student ‘who is deemed, by his or her actions, to have done the most to bring medical students into disrepute’ in the time since the last AMSS MedBall.

Any medical student can nominate any other medical student up to the night of an AMSS MedBall. Nominations should be sent via email to president@amss.org.au, be made via the Webform (available from Wed 27 June) or made in person, and should include a short description of the ‘unmentionable act’ that the nominee has allegedly performed to bring his or her colleagues into ‘disrepute’. The successful recipient of the annual Urinal Award is then determined by general acclamation at the AMSS MedBall.

Nominations for the 2012 award will open Wednesday 27 June and close Friday 24 August 2012.

For more information about the Urinal Award, please do not hesitate to contact the President at: president@amss.org.au.
