Australian Medical Association (SA)

The AMA(SA) exists to provide a voice for the medical profession through representation, professional support, services and advices to its members. The AMA is the peak medical group representing over 28 000 doctors Australia wide.

Most importantly for medical students, AMA membership is free. Not only does this entitle you to join the peak representative body of the medical profession, you also receive a number of benefits including the MedicSA magazine monthly, you have the opportunity to join the AMA(SA) mentor scheme, you are eligible for student grants and attend the Annual Careers Expo.

With a strong and proud history, the AMSS and AMA(SA) work together to voice student views and advocate for change.
