AMSS Cycling

In 2009 the AMSS Cycling group was formed.  What started out as one or two likeminded guys meeting at a common point for a ride in their lycra early on a Sunday morning very quickly grew to more than a dozen with similar interests.  Under the leadership of Tom Altree, the AMSS cycling group now has over 60 members on their email thread involving students from 1^st year all the way through to locally based registrars. 

Anyone can email a ride time and there’s often a variety of routes and paces that are followed on any particular weekend catering for the Lance Armstrongs as well as the Joe Amateurs amongst us – all ending up at the same point for a quiet coffee afterwards.  Also a place to ask for any tips or ideas, the peloton email thread is always active with notices of upcoming organised rides and charity events.  Everyone’s welcome so if you’d like to be involved and put on the email thread, click here.
