Affiliates

There are a range of other student organisations within the Medical School at the University of Adelaide, each of which is dedicated to providing medical students with the opportunity to engage in a particular interest they may have. Many of these groups had their origins as organisations under the umbrella of the AMSS and have since moved away to become separate entities. Especially in the last three years, these groups have blossomed and become extremely active; this is a testament to the energy of the medical students involved.

One of the primary objects of the AMSS is to provide social, cultural and educational activities for its members. Therefore the aims of the AMSS and the aims of most of these other student organisations have significant overlap. Consequently the AMSS has become affiliated with some of these groups in relationships of mutual goodwill and beneficence. It is the overarching hope of the Society that positive relationships between all the different groups within the Medical School will result in optimal outcomes for medical students.In this section you will find a brief summary of each different group the AMSS is affiliated with, along with a link to their own website.
